Hiwi the Kiwi

 

We had Hiwi the Kiwi come to school to teach us all about water safety. We had lots of fun singing, dancing and laughing.

Look at all the yummy food that our parents made!! Thanks to them we are off to the Wellington Zoo. We are hoping that we will learn how to help animals from becoming extinct.

We are learning all about keeping a beat and a rythem. It is amazing what sounds we can make!!

Petting Zoo

Zippity Zoo! Will we see monkeys and elephants? "Yes" said the children in Room 9. We were all surprised at the animals we saw. After we wrote about our experiences at Zippity Zoo we recorded the animals we liked and why on photostory 3. Listen to the amazing stories we wrote.

Week 1 and 2 Term2

Wow it has been an amazing couple of weeks. We are learning statistics in Maths, asking open and closed questions, putting up wonderings, brainstorming on animals, blowing bubbles and baking for the letter of the week.
